The decision in brief

Two SolCard tiers. Two different comparisons.

Beyond the headline

The details that
change the choice.

01

A free top-up is not a free transaction

SolCard’s help centre lists a $0.30 purchase fee and other charges, alongside 0% Platinum top-ups. A monthly pattern of many small purchases can therefore produce a different result from one large purchase. Count the transactions you actually expect to make. [3]

02

Resolve the FX schedule before funding

The SolCard fee page gives FX ranges by tier, while the help-centre breakdown lists a 2% cross-border / FX charge. These published descriptions differ. Ask which schedule applies to your card and region; this comparison does not select the cheaper figure or assume missing charges are zero. [2]

03

Keep the comparison on the same tier

Do not combine the email-only Virtual offer with Platinum’s 0% top-up rate. For CryptoCard, a $100 qualifying deposit credits $99 before optional card purchases. For SolCard, use the selected tier’s checkout quote and include issuance, funding and planned purchase costs. [1]

Your questions

SolCard,

Why are two SolCard fee sources linked?

The fee page and help-centre breakdown describe FX charges differently. Both are provided so you can confirm the schedule for your actual card before funding.
